Farmers Market
The garden is sponsored by the Mustang Kiwanis Club.
We complete two years of operation in 2010. We planted
almost an acre of a variety of vegetables. Approximately
one-third of the produce is donated to the Kiwanis Food
Distribution program.

Our Mission
Our mission is to feed those in need, to teach our youth and adults how to grow their own
food, to provide a market of garden fresh produce, and to foster a greater spirit of community.

Historical Society
Museum at 470 West
Highway 152.
The Mustang Kiwanis Farmers Market will open again in June 2011. Farmers,
gardeners, crafters or anyone that is interested in participating or has questions can

Spring Planting Day
March 14, 2009
We produced over 2,000 pounds of fresh, locally grown
produce each year. We have had over 40 volunteers this
year who have contributed many hours of time to the
garden and market!
In 2011, the garden will be participating in our second year
of the Plasticulture program through the Oklahoma
Department of Agriculture. This program will increase our
